  2. Hi all, I have a sigDate variable of type YYMMDD10. And a sigTime variable type TIME5. SigDate 2018-09-10. I want to combine them into 1 variable called sigDateTime like 2018-09-10 00:11:22 using function.
  3. The next time change to standard time is on Sunday, 25. October 2020 at 03:00 am (summer time). The clocks are put back from 03:00 am (summer time) to 02:00 am (standard time). According the local time (simply abbreviated LT) is today Thursday the 15. October 2020 and it is now 11:34 pm (LT).

Step 1: Boot Up Your Raspberry Pi

You first need to boot up your Pi and make sure that you are running Raspbian OS.

Step 2: Do the Necessary Settings

Do the following steps -

  1. open terminal and run the command ' sudo raspi-config ' and press enter.
  2. A new menu will appear. Select ' Internationalization Option '.
  3. Select ' Change Timezone '.
  4. Select your Geographical Area.
  5. Select your Homecity or select the nearest city listed there.
  6. Select Finish.

Step 3: Reboot Your Pi

Now it will show the local time same as your time zone. But you can't see it in the time and date area of the desktop. For this you have to reboot your Raspberry Pi.

So Reboot your Pi.

Step 4: It's Done!!

And

After a reboot You can see the date and time updated in the desktop. So in this way you can update your date and time in your Pi. Every time you boot up the pi will update the time by itself from internet.
